Originally founded as Hatchet Bearers Solutions in 2023, the organization emerged from a background shaped by adversity, adaptability, and a consistent drive to solve problems in real time. Exposure to both small-town environments and urban conditions developed an early understanding of risk, behavior, and situational awareness—paired with a growing focus on strategy, discipline, and structured thinking.
In 2024, that foundation led to a defining decision: whether to follow a conventional path or commit fully to building something that could support others in navigating pressure, uncertainty, and disruption. That decision established the direction of the company.

Kameron “Kamau” Rankin is the Founder of Sacred Wagon LLC, a crisis management and resiliency consulting firm built on structure, awareness, and operational clarity in high-risk and uncertain environments. His approach is shaped by both lived experience and formal training, combining military foundations with a systems-driven mindset focused on anticipating threats before they materialize.
With a background in military training that emphasized logistics, preparedness, and real-time decision-making, Rankin developed a method of analyzing environments as dynamic systems—where people, risk, and resources are constantly in motion. Known for viewing situations as strategic frameworks rather than isolated events, he applies adaptive thinking to identify vulnerabilities, guide response, and establish control where others see chaos.
As a certified Security Risk Management Professional (SRMP-C), Rankin integrates structured risk assessment with hands-on operational involvement, working directly alongside clients to strengthen resilience, improve awareness, and build sustainable systems. His work reflects a hybrid role as both strategist and operator—ensuring that planning is not only developed, but executed with precision.
